Feature
Your pixels, your UTMs, your funnel data
Configure GA4, Google Tag Manager or Meta Pixel per dynamic QR and use a clear utm_source value for placement-level campaign reporting.

Two layers of measurement
Qrcado’s built-in analytics report aggregate scan activity such as totals, unique scans, time, country, device, operating system, browser, referrer and utm_source.
Per-QR GA4, GTM and Meta Pixel settings add a second layer inside the hosted or redirected experience. Use that layer when the campaign already has an approved measurement and privacy setup in those tools.
A practical setup
- Create a separate dynamic QR record for every placement that must be compared.
- Give each record a consistent
utm_source, such asposter_north,receipt_store_12orpackaging_batch_a. - Add the required GA4 measurement ID, GTM container ID or Meta Pixel ID to the individual QR configuration.
- Test the scan path and confirm the event appears in the intended property or container.
- Document the owner and remove old IDs when the campaign or client changes.
Privacy and consent
A Qrcado scan can be counted without identifying a person. Adding third-party pixels may change the privacy and consent requirements of the destination experience. Review the destination’s notices and consent flow before enabling GA4, GTM or Meta Pixel.
Where this helps
Keep agency campaign naming consistent across print and digital channels.
Connect a packaging or event QR visit with downstream website behaviour.
Use GTM when the destination already manages approved tags through a container.
Configure Meta Pixel only when the organisation’s advertising and privacy policies allow it.
Pixels & UTM FAQ
Which pixels can I add?
Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and the Meta pixel on Qrcado-hosted destination pages.
Where do the pixels fire?
On the hosted pages Qrcado serves for your codes. If a code points straight to your own website, use UTM parameters so the visit is attributed in your own analytics.
Can I add UTM parameters to a code?
Yes — tag each destination with source, medium and campaign so QR traffic is separated cleanly in your reporting.
Does this change what Qrcado tracks?
No. Qrcado’s own scan analytics stay aggregate and cookie-less; your pixels are your own tracking, loaded on your hosted pages.
Do I need a developer to set this up?
No — pixels and UTM tags are configured from the dashboard when you edit a code.
Put QR scans in your own reports
Add pixels and UTM tags so print campaigns show up next to the rest of your marketing.
