Fix a printed code by editing, not reprinting

A dynamic QR code points to a short link you control. Change where it goes, rewrite its content, or pause it entirely — the printed pattern never changes.

How it works

Edit once, updated everywhere

  1. Print the dynamic code

The code encodes a fixed short link, so the printed pattern stays the same forever.

  2. Change what it points to

Update the destination URL, file, or content from the dashboard — the change is live in seconds.

  3. Pause or resume on demand

Temporarily stop a code between campaigns, then switch it back on when you're ready.

What you get

Everything stays under your control

Live content edits

Rewrite text, swap files, and adjust landing pages while the code is already in the wild.

Pause & stop

Take a code offline between runs, or retire it for good, right from the dashboard.

Editable QR code FAQ

What is an editable QR code?

A dynamic code that stores a fixed short link. Because the destination lives on our servers, you can change it without altering the printed pattern.

Do I need to reprint after an edit?

No. The printed code stays valid — only the content it resolves to changes, and it's live within seconds.

Can I pause a code without deleting it?

Yes. Pause a code to take it offline temporarily, then resume it whenever you like. Stopping it retires the code permanently.

Can static codes be edited?

No. Static codes encode the data directly in the pattern, so the only way to change them is to generate and print a new one. Use a dynamic type if you need edits.

Is there a limit to how often I can edit?

There's no cap on edits. Change the destination and design as often as your campaign needs.

Use it without creating a mess

  • Open the existing QR record.
  • Publish the corrected destination or content version.
  • Roll back to an earlier version when a change needs to be reversed.

Questions before enabling dynamic editing

  • Which repeated task or control problem is this feature meant to solve?
  • Who owns the configuration after the first campaign launches?
  • Which plan limit or permission affects the rollout?
  • What should happen when a destination, member, domain or subscription changes?
  • How will the team test the complete scan path before printing?
